MIDLAND, TX — Former Midland Youth Pastor Corey White has pleaded guilty to one count of knowingly accessing images depicting child pornography involving a minor.
According to court documents, the plea occurred during a Status Conference/Rearraignment held on Wednesday afternoon. White's sentencing is anticipated to be conducted by District Judge Counts on April 4. He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison along with potential lifetime supervised release.

White had previously been indicted by a grand jury on the charges in November. Initially, he pleaded not guilty, setting up a jury trial scheduled for January 29.
During the period in question, White served as a youth minister at Redeemer Midland, as acknowledged by members of the congregation.
