AMBER ALERT: Missing Hill Country Girl in Grave Danger

 

BULVERDE, Texas — An AMBER Alert has been issued concerning the disappearance of a child believed to be in “grave or immediate danger,” according to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office.

The missing individual is identified as 13-year-old Carleigh O’Dell, described as standing at 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 139 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes. O’Dell was last seen on Jan. 3 at 8:53 p.m. in the vicinity of 1400 block of Ridge Creek Lane in Bulverde, Texas.

Authorities reported O’Dell was dressed in a gray sweatshirt bearing “Lonestar Ranch” lettering on the front, multi-colored shorts, and black athletic shoes at the time of her disappearance.

In connection with the abduction, law enforcement seeks a 21-year-old man characterized by facial hair and a receding hairline. This individual is believed to be operating a blue truck of unknown make and model, with an undisclosed license plate number.
