FORT WORTH, TX — Texas authorities have raised concerns about the safety of an 18-year-old pregnant woman, Savanah Soto, who went missing after failing to attend a scheduled hospital appointment, according to police reports.
Soto, a resident of Leon Valley, was last seen around 2 p.m. on Friday, December 22, officials stated. She was anticipated to undergo labor induction at the hospital on that day, as per statements from her family. However, she did not arrive for her appointment, prompting worry among her relatives and medical personnel.
On December 25, authorities issued a CLEAR Alert for Soto. These alerts are activated in situations involving missing, kidnapped, or abducted adults deemed to be in imminent danger of injury or death, as outlined by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
In an effort to locate her, friends and family gathered at Valencia Lofts, the apartment complex where Soto was last seen. They initiated their own search and disseminated information about her disappearance.
Described as having brown hair and brown eyes, Soto weighs approximately 115 pounds. The Leon Valley Police Department has urged anyone with pertinent information regarding her whereabouts to contact them at 210-812-3259.
