2 Wanted Men Taken Down by S.W.A.T. Team

 

MIDLAND, TX — The Midland County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of two individuals following the execution of search warrants by officers from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID), SWAT, and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on Tuesday.

The search, carried out in the 400 and 500 blocks of E. Wolcott, resulted in the discovery of a stolen vehicle valued at $75,000, alongside approximately $40,000 worth of tools and equipment.

Juan Carillo Jr. and Buddy Floyd Garmon were taken into custody by law enforcement officials during the operation.

Juan Carillo Jr. faces charges related to three local warrants, including evading arrest, resisting arrest search, and assault causing bodily injury.

Buddy Floyd Garmon, on the other hand, is charged with possession of marijuana.

The Midland County Sheriff’s Office indicated that further charges are pending as the investigation progresses.

No additional details regarding the circumstances leading to the search or the specific events surrounding the arrests have been disclosed at this time.
