Brown County Coaches Aid Sent to Prison for Lewd Acts with a Minor

BROWNWOOD, TX — Justin Robinson, a former coach's aide at Early ISD, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of Improper Relationship between Educator and Student and Indecency with a Child.

Robinson received his 18-year prison term on Tuesday following his plea. The sentencing stems from allegations of exposing himself to a middle school student and engaging in inappropriate communication.

According to a press release issued by the Early Police Department, the case came to light in August 2022 when the mother of a 14-year-old student reported Robinson's inappropriate interactions with her child via a social media platform. The mother alleged that Robinson exposed himself to the child and encouraged the minor to do the same.

Upon receiving the report, school authorities promptly removed Robinson from the premises as investigations commenced.

Subsequently, multiple search warrants were executed at Robinson's residence, targeting his home, cell phones, computers, and other electronic devices, resulting in his arrest.

An initial press release from law enforcement stated, "We believe that there may be more victims, and we encourage parents to communicate with their children and review their devices for any communication or interaction involving Robinson."

Before entering his plea, Robinson had been detained at the Brown County Jail on seven charges linked to the reported incidents.
