Financial Advisor Estes Sentenced to Prison

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo financial advisor Greg Estes was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a Taylor County Court Thursday afternoon. The sentence comes after Estes, 59, was found guilty of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, with the offenses dating from 2001 to 2009.

Estes, initially charged with seven first-degree felonies and three second-degree felonies, saw two of the charges dropped during the trial. After an intense 11-hour deliberation, the jury returned a guilty verdict late Wednesday night.
