San Angelo Woman Arrested for Aggravated Robbery in Brutal Beating

 

SAN ANGELO— Bond is $105,000 for a San Angelo woman who was arrested for beating and choking out a person at a health facility. 

Roxanna Andrade, 22, has been arrested for Aggravated Robbery and Resisting Arrest after she attacked and robbed a woman at Shannon Health on Pulliam St.

According to court documents, on November 16, 2023, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 2018 Pulliam Street regarding an assault and an unconscious person. Officers arrived and found the victim who was still unconscious on the ground being treated by Shannon Medical staff while Shannon personnel were attempted to detain a subject, identified as Andrade.

Officers stated that Andrade was a patient at the behavioral unit of Shannon and had exited the building and attacked the other woman. Andrade had taken the woman's cellphone and keys without her consent. The woman had been struck several times in the face and choked to the point of losing consciousness.

Attempts to speak with Andrade were difficult has she would not provide coherent information and made bizarre requests like to be taken to “JFK”. The officer was told by hospital staff that Andrade had been arrested in Breckenridge, Texas for assault when she attempted to grab a child at the Stephens Memorial Hospital on November 15, 2023. She was assessed at Stephens County and transported for treatment.

Andrade was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail for Aggravated Robbery and Resisting Arrest or Detention. She is being held on $105,000 bond.
