SAN ANGELO, Texas—Law enforcement officials arrested and booked 12 individuals into the Tom Green County Jail in the last 24 hours on charges including Assault of Hospital Personnel, Theft of a Firearm, Drug Possession and DWI.

Tom Green Co. Sheriff's Deputies arrested Joshua Jacob 'Josh' Felix, 39, for Possession of between 1 gram and 4 grams of Meth/Fentanyl and Walking With Traffic. He was booked into the TCGJ at 6:34 a.m. Sunday. His bond is listed at $264.00 for the Traffic charge and $10,000.00 for the Drug Possession charge.
San Angelo Police arrested Patrick Harris, 58, of Norris City, IL for Assault of Hospital Personnel on Hospital Property. He was booked into jail at 6:26 a.m. Sunday. He is being held without bond.
A new Texas law passed in 2023 changes the charges for assault against a hospital worker to a third-degree felony. It also makes it a felony for someone on parole to remove an ankle monitor on their own. Finally, the law mandates the notification of hospital staff when a violent offender enters the hospital for treatment.
Tom Green Co. Sheriff's Deputies arrested Jancarlo Gonzalez, 18, for Theft of a Firearm, Possession of less than 2 ozs of Marijuana, and Possession of between 4 grams and 400 grams of Hallucinogens. His bond is listed at $1,000.00 on the Marijuana charge. Bond will be set at a magistrate hearing by a Justice of the Peace for the other charges.
