Former Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Drugging Minor

 

ABILENE— A former police officer has been sentenced for giving a minor THC edibles.

Adam Becker, a former Abilene police officer, has pled guilty to Delivery of THC to a minor. Becker was accused of giving a minor babysitter two pieces of chocolate infused with THC.

The minor said she felt pressure to eat and take the THC edibles from Becker. The one piece she kept was taken to a lab and it did test positive for THC.

Becker allegedly confessed to giving the babysitter edibles. He also resigned from the Abilene Police Department after his arrest.

For the plea, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 10 years of probation on top and must pay a $5,000 fine.
