Abilene Man Arrested for Shooting Partner

 

ABILENE, TX — A man in Abilene stands accused of shooting his intimate partner in the leg and has subsequently been arrested.

Marquee Aboso faces a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was booked into the Taylor County Jail. The charge is in connection to a shooting incident at a residence on Pueblo Drive Sunday night.

Abilene Police reported that Aboso allegedly shot his intimate partner in the leg around 6:30 p.m. The victim is expected to survive her injuries. No further details, including the circumstances surrounding the shooting, have been disclosed. Aboso is currently held in the Taylor County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
