BROWNWOOD, TX — On Sunday, November 26, 2023, Brown County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to n incident where they learned that a 46-year-old man had sustained a stab wound from a physical altercation with a 32-year-old man. The suspect has been identified, and the investigation is ongoing. The victim was reported to have suffered serious stab wounds and injuries but is currently in stable condition at Hendrick Medical Center.
The violent knife fight occurred in the 6900 block of St. Patrick Drive at Lake Brownwood. It is currently unknown what prompted the altercation and whether this was a crime of passion in the heat of the moment or if the two men had a pre-existing conflict.
