ABILENE, Texas — Three suspects were detained following an armed robbery at a game room in Sweetwater on Thursday morning.
The robbery occurred at Diamond Knights game room on the 500 block of Avenger Field Road just after 8:00 a.m.
Nolan County Sheriff David Warren confirmed that armed with a semi-automatic handgun, the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the location before fleeing in a vehicle. Law enforcement issued a 'Be on the Lookout' alert for the vehicle after the robbery. The suspects were subsequently located at another game room in Sweetwater around 9:20 a.m. It remains unclear whether they were attempting to target this second location as well.
Investigators stated they do not believe any additional suspects are at large, and there is no perceived threat to the public at this time.
