San Angelo PD Seeking Info in Eastside Hit-and-run Crash

 

San Angelo – The San Angelo Police Department is looking for information about a hit and run crash where an individual was injured.

According to information from SAPD Public Information officer Richard Espinoza, one man is recovering after being struck by a vehicle on the Eastside of town. SAPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the Hit and Run and is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the driver.

SAPD officers were dispatched Friday evening to the 500 Block of North Bell in reference to a call for service. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers located a 41-year-old man in the road suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance where he received treatment.

An unknown vehicle struck the man in the roadway and fled the scene. SAPD’s Traffic Division was then requested to assist with the investigation. The SAPD believes that the suspect vehicle is a 2004-2008 Toyota Camry that is either silver or grey in color. The suspect vehicle will be missing the passenger side mirror and should have damage to the front passenger quarter panel.
