San Angelo Police Investigate Stabbing Incident at Ben Ficklin Low Water Crossing

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo Police responded to a reported stabbing near the South Concho River at the Ben Ficklin low water crossing. The incident, which prompted a swift law enforcement response, remains under investigation.

Upon our arrival, we saw at least five police cruisers were present at the scene. However, there was no ambulance observed by the time our team reached the location. Officers at the scene were tight-lipped but confirmed that an investigation was underway, suggesting that an incident had indeed occurred.

The site, beneath Bryant Blvd. and commonly known as the Ben Ficklin low water crossing, has a reputation for being a hotspot of illicit activities.
