Police Reveal Identity of Body Found in Lake Nasworthy

SAN ANGELO, TX – The identity of the man who who found in Lake Nasworthy has been revealed.

As previously reported, on Sep. 14, 2023, San Angelo Police were dispatched to Mary E. Lee Park for the report of a body that was discovered in the water on Lake Nasworthy. For the original article, see: Body Found on Beach at Lake Nasworthy.

New information revealed by the SAPD has confirmed the deceased person was Jovany Guzman, 39, of Midland. Although the identity of the man has been reveled the cause of death has not. Guzman's body has been sent off for an autopsy. 

An obit for Guzman has been posted. In it, it reads that Guzman was a free spirited man who could talk to anyone.
