UPDATE: Body Found at Nasworthy Sent for Autopsy

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The body found at Lake Nasworthy last Thursday has been sent for an autopsy.

As previously reported, on Sep. 14, 2023, San Angelo Police were dispatched to Mary E. Lee Park for the report of a body that was discovered in the water on Lake Nasworthy. For the original article, see: Body Found on Beach at Lake Nasworthy.

At the time of the incident, no identifying information was released. Now it has been confirmed that the deceased is a 39-year-old man.

Tom Green County Justice of the Peace Tom Daniel pronounced the man deceased on scene. Judge Daniel has also ordered a full autopsy.
