Fugitive Who Shot Harris Co. Deputy Still on the Run

 

HOUSTON, TX – Law Enforcement agencies across the Texas continue to search for Terran Green, a suspect who shot a Harris County Deputy Wednesday night.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, on Aug. 16, 2023, at around 7:30 p.m., 29-year-old Harris County Deputy Joseph Anderson pulled over a vehicle in the 13600 block of Homestead Rd. in Houston. During the traffic stop, Anderson was shot by an occupant in the vehicle.

HCSO has identified the suspects as Terran Green, 34, and James Green, 37, both of Houston. Texas DPS confirmed that James was taken into custody at around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 17. A manhunt is still ongoing for Terran.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez gave an update on Deputy Anderson's condition.
