SAN ANGELO – Law enforcement officers arrested 16 individuals who were then booked into the Tom Green County Jail in the last 24 hours on charges including Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, having a Glass Container at the Lake, and an Illegal Exhaust System.
31-year-old John Paul Salas of San Angelo was arrested by San Angelo Police and booked on a single count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 1:28 a.m. Sunday and is being held without bond pending a magistrate hearing before a Justice of the Peace. Police have not released any information regarding which deadly weapon investigation Salas may be involved in.
20-year-old Brando Parr was arrested by Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens for having an illegal exhaust system on a vehicle. He was booked at 1:07 a.m. Sunday on a single charge of 547.605(c)(1) CPF No Exhaust System - Originally Equipped. The statute states "(c) The owner or operator of a motor vehicle or motor vehicle engine, of a model year after 1967, that is equipped with an exhaust emission system:(1) shall maintain the system in good working condition;." He is being held without bond pending a magistrate hearing.
30-year-old Davis Anderson of Anchorage, AK was arrested by San Angelo Police for Possessing a Glass Container at the Lake. He was booked into jail at 1:35 p.m. Saturday and released at 3:58 p.m. after posting $282.00 bond.
