DPS: Child Abducted in Waxahachie in Grave Danger

 

WAXAHACHIE, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for a child who was abducted in north Texas and is feared to be in grave or immediate danger. 

According to the DPS, the Waxahachie Police Department is searching for 11-year-old Tanya Jackson.  She is described as a black female, 5'11" weighing 170 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.  Tanya was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with red lettering. 

Police belief Tanya is grave danger. 

Police have not released any identifying information on a suspect or vehicle involved in the abduction.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tanya Jackson from Waxahachie should call the WPD at 469-309-4400.
