COLEMAN, TX – Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently searching for an armed and dangerous suspect who fled from officers during a traffic stop.
According to the Coleman County Sheriff's Office, on July 13, 2023, the CCSO posted a wanted notice for George Edward Ferguson Jr. He recently led Coleman County Deputies, Coleman Police Officers, and the Santa Anna Police Officers on a chase throughout Coleman County.
Ferguson was initially pulled over by the CPD but fled the traffic stop. He was last spotted south of Santa Anna, where he took off on foot into a field. Ferguson is wanted not only for the pursuit but also for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. If you see him, please contact the Coleman County Sheriff's Office at (325) 625-3506.

Coleman County Sheriffs Office, Coleman Police Department, and Santa Anna Police Department are actively looking for wanted subject George Edward Ferguson JR.
Ferguson led Coleman PD in a pursuit after a traffic stop and was last seen on foot in the fields south of Santa Anna Ave possibly headed into town.
Ferguson does have a active warrant for unlawful possession of firearm.
