SAN ANGELO, TX – A Crimes Against Children operation by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office resulted in arrest of a man and the seizure of hundreds of images of lewd images of small children.
According to the TGCSO, on June 7, 2023, the sheriff's office arrested Chad George, 42, for five counts of possession of child pornography. At the time of his arrest George was in his home on Southridge Dr.
The Sheriff's Deputies executed a search warrant on the home, arrested George, and seized hundreds of videos and images depicting prepubescent children performing sexual acts.
George is currently in the Tom Green County Detention Facility with five possession of child pornography charges. His bond is set at $250,000.

On June 07, 2023, the Criminal Investigations Division and the Patrol Division of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence located on Southridge Dr in San Angelo.
A Crimes Against Children investigation resulted in Chad George, age 42, being found to be in possession of hundreds of videos and images of very young children engaging in sexual conduct.
Evidence of the crime was seized during the search warrant, and Chad George was arrested for five warrants of Possession of Child Pornography, each of which is classified as a third-degree felony.
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office will continue to act on information received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
