Tattoo-Faced Man Armed and on the Run Captured in the Concho Valley

 

MASON, TX — The Menard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an at-large suspect accused of a shooting incident in Mason County.

The following release is from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

CAUTION: WANTED SUSPECT ARMED WITH A REVOLVER

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office had an incident earlier this afternoon with an armed suspect at Erna Sand Plant, located north of London, Texas in Mason County. The suspect fled the scene, and law enforcement agencies are conducting a manhunt for this suspect in the tri-county area. Kimble County Sheriff Allen Castleberry and deputies are assisting the Mason County Sheriff’s Office in this search. The suspect's location is currently unknown and is believed to be on foot. The suspect is described below:

Name: Leonardo Pizarro Gender/Race: Male/Hispanic Date of Birth: 03/26/1991 Description: Red cap, brown jeans, white shirt

The suspect has a warrant out of Colorado and pending charges in Mason County.

DO NOT APPROACH THIS SUSPECT. CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY IF YOU SEE THIS SUSPECT.

Please be vigilant regarding this suspect and lock all buildings, cars, etc.

The Kimble County Sheriff’s Office will provide updates on any additional information that becomes available.

UPDATE ON WANTED FUGITIVE PIZARRO:

The suspect has just been apprehended on Highway 29 near Hext, Texas in Menard County. The suspect is in custody.
