SAN ANGELO – 16 individuals were booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center in the last 24 hours on a variety of charges including Racing on the Highway and Using a Drug Test Falsification Device.
18-year-old Joshua Acosta was arrested by San Angelo Police for Racing on the Highway. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 10:49 p.m. and was released Wednesday morning at 12:43 a.m. after posting $500 bond. Police have the option under state law of confiscating and keeping any vehicle used for street racing.
20-year-old Ashlynne Gibson was arrested by San Angelo Police for Racing on the Highway. She was booked into jail at 10:56 p.m. and her bond is listed at $500. Gibson could also lose the vehicle she was driving at the time of her arrest.
32-year-old Andrew Wilhelm was arrested by Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies for *COMM* False Drug Test Falsification Device. He was booked at 4:58 p.m. under the Couthouse Arrest Program.
