SAN ANGELO – 10 individuals were booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center in the last 24 hours on charges including Possession of Marijuana and Hard Drugs, Theft, Violating Probation and Grand Jury Indictments.
37-year-old Stephen Smith of San Angelo was arrested by San Angelo Police on a whole bunch of charges including a Motion To Revoke (MTR) Probation for Assault of a Family Member with a Previous Conviction, MTR Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000, Grand Jury Indictment (GJI) Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000, GJI Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, GJI Evading Arrest with a Previous Conviction, GJI Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, and new charges of Evading Arrest with a Previous Conviction, Expired Vehicle Registration, No Proof of Financial Responsibility, No Seatbelt, Criminal Mischief under $100, Failure to Appear in Court x2, and Violation of a Promise to Appear in Court x2.
Smith was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 12:30 p.m. Monday and his bond is listed at $54,756. Court documents show he is also facing court fines of $2,378.
