Creep Indicted for Blackmailing Minor for Lewd Images

SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo man has been indicted for possession of child pornography after blackmailing a minor by threatening to distribute obscene images of her if she did not send him more photographs.

Juelz Sincere Armstead, 19, has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for possession of child pornography.

According to court documents, on December 5, 2022, a detective with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office in Frankfurt, Indiana explained to the investigator that a 13-year-old female in his jurisdiction had been communicating with a man, identified as Armstead, in San Angelo, Texas.

The Clinton County detective stated that the child victim had sent “Juelz” or Armstead, a partially nude picture of herself. Then, Armstead started blackmailing the child victim into sending him more pictures, which she did. Then, the Clinton County detective said that Armstead threatened him the child with releasing the lewd images to all of her friends if she did not send him a fully nude picture.

Investigators were able to identify Armstead and discover his address at the 4100 block of Ben Ficklin Road in San Angelo. It should also be noted that the Clinton County detective had previously provided the Tom Green County investigator showing that Armstead had communicated with the child victim using an IP address that came back to the same location.

Then, on December 8, 2022, the Tom Green County investigator drafted a search warrant for Armstead’s cell phone, which was executed on the same day. During an interview, Armstead allegedly admitted to talking with a 13-year-old child who he also allegedly blackmailed into sending him more nude pictures.

During the search of Armstead’s cell phone, several nude images of the child victim in question were discovered of her in sexually charged poses and several other videos were found showing unknown female minors, ages 12-14, posing sexually as well.

Armstead was arrested for possession of child pornography on December 27, 2022, and was released after posting a $35,000 bond on December 29, 2022.
