SAN ANGELO – 20 individuals were booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center in the last 24 hours on charges including Racing on the Highway, Auto Theft, and Family Violence.
20-year-old Seth Davis and 21-year-old Julio Torres were arrested early Thursday morning by San Angelo Police for Racing on the Highway. Both men could lose the vehicles they were racing in permanently according to a new state law. Davis was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 12:42 a.m. and remains there on $500 bond. Torres was booked at 12:17 a.m. Thursday and was released at 2:13 a.m. after posting $500 bond.
30-year-old Jose Jaime Perez was arrested for stealing a car and family violence. He was arrested by San Angelo Police and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Perez was booked into jail at 3:23 a.m. Thursday and is being held without bond pending a hearing before a Justice of the Peace.
Reynaldo Rodriguez, 40, of Tomball, TX was booked for Failure to Appear in Court on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or more. The offense occurred in Irion County and he has one prior DWI listed in Sterling County. He was booked at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday and released at 2:13 a.m. Thursday after posting $20,000 bond.
