Unidentified Drug Dealer Leaves Behind Large Bag of Meth for TGCSO Deputies

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – An unidentified drug dealer evading Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputy Wednesday left behind a large bag of methamphetamine and a number of stolen firearms.

The following is a press release from the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office:

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at approximately 2:55 am, a deputy of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division attempted a traffic stop near North Chadbourne Street and 14th Street. 

The suspect vehicle evaded and a brief pursuit ensued. The male driver of the vehicle stopped in an alley in the area of 17th Street and fled on foot. 

The Deputy remained at the scene with a female passenger. A perimeter was established with the assistance of the San Angelo Police Department; however, the male suspect was not located.

Investigators are hopeful that evidence within the suspect's vehicle will assist in identifying the driver. Evidence seized from within the vehicle included a stolen firearm and additional weapons.   Additionally, over 226 grams of Methamphetamine were seized along with other narcotics in the vehicle.
