SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department on Tuesday confirmed the arrest of two suspects involved in a shooting this past November.
According to a press release from the SAPD, on Dec. 29, 2022, Tramarcia George, 24, and Kyeshia Hornsby, 28, were booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for aggravated assault. The two were both booked into the jail for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
Police say that just after 8 a.m. on Nov. 11, officers with the SAPD were dispatched to the 300 block of E. 13th St. for the report of a shooting. When the officers arrived, they discovered a 30-year-old male with two gunshot wounds. One of the shots was in his shoulder, while the other went into his face.
Officers were able to determine that prior to the shooting, an altercation took place inside the home between George, Hornsby, and the unidentified victim. Following the shooting, the two suspects fled San Angelo but were eventually located and captured in Shreveport, LA. Following their arrest, the two were brought back to Tom Green County.
The condition of the shooting victim was not revealed, but police did not say the man died. This is a developing story.
