The Hunt Is On For This San Angelo Man

SAN ANGELO, TX – The hunt is on for a San Angelo man who is wanted for failing to meet his bond requirements.

According to court documents, on Dec. 7, 2022, a warrant was issued for the arrest of 50-year-old Roberto Arambula. The warrant was issued after Freedom Bail Bonds claimed Arambula had stopped checking in with the bondsman.

Last week it was reported that Arambula had been arrested back in Sep. 2022.  Arambula had been arrested at the Walmart on Sherwood Way accused of stealing a number of items. Once he was approached by police, he ran away.

Arambula is currently indicted for theft of a property with two or more previous convictions and evading arrest with a previous conviction. In the warrant it states that Arambula was released on a $15,000 bond on Nov. 10. A condition of the bond was that he was required to check in every Monday. He checked in on Nov. 14 but failed to show up on Nov. 21, Nov. 28, and Dec. 5.

Arambula is no stranger to the local news feed as he was acquitted for the murder of Rhyheme Talton in May 2021.

If you have any information on Arambula's whereabouts contact the San Angelo Police Department. Do not approach wanted individuals as these individuals can be armed and dangerous.
