BREAKING VIDEO: Biker on a Harley Crashes on Bryant After 95 mph High Speed Chase

 

SAN ANGELO – A wanted suspect riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle led law enforcement officers on a high speed chase at speeds reportedly reaching 95 mph through northern Tom Green County and into San Angelo Friday afternoon before crashing at N. Bryant Blvd. and W. 29th St. 

According to radio communications, the chase was first reported when the biker sped through the intersection of US 87 N. and Grape Creek Road being pursued by Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies.

The chase led officers down Grape Creek Road onto N. Chadbourne then back out to US 87. 

San Angelo Police joined the chase when the suspect reached the city limits reportedly going 95 mph.  

The chase ended with the biker crashed the Harley at the intersection of 29th and N. Bryant.  Communications indicate the suspect fled briefly on foot but was taken into custody a short time later. 

Officers called for an ambulance and other special units to the scene.  

It is unknown at this time what the suspect was wanted for.  This is a developing story and will be updated with officials release more information.
