BOOKING REPORT: Local Mom Arrested for Refusing to Take Children to School

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Over the past 24 hours there were 13 inmates booked and 16 inmates released from the Tom Green County Detention Facility.

These bookings were a result of arrests from the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

One of those arrests was a mother who is allegedly refusing to force her kids to go to school.

  • Angelika Gonzales was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 9:58 p.m. Gonzales was arrested for a number of charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, contempt of court, class c theft, and parent contributing to non-attendance at SAISD. She also had five warrants for failure to appear at court dates. She was released the same day on a personal recognizance bond.

The following were booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility over the past 24 hours:

  • Jose Segura was jailed on Nov. 28 at 8:37 a.m. Segura is serving a sentence for his second driving while intoxicated. He was released later that day at 11:28 a.m.
  • Tory Wilson was jailed on Nov. 28 at 8:47 a.m. Wilson is serving a sentence for his second driving while intoxicated. He was released later that day at 11:28 a.m.
  • Neibez Mendez was jailed on Nov. 28 at 11:37 a.m. Mendez is serving a sentence for criminal trespassing.
  • Jesus Vasquez-Juarez was jailed on Nov. 28 at 1:02 p.m. Vasquez-Juarez is serving a sentence for theft of a property between $100 and $750.
  • Calli Jenson was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 2:05 p.m. Jenson was arrested after a warrant was issued revoking her personal recognizance bond.
  • Chynna Price was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 3:19 p.m. Price was arrested for a warrant that was issued for her arrest out of foard county for evading arrest with a vehicle.
  • Brendan Pierce was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 3:47 p.m. Pierce was arrested for criminal trespassing but was released less than an hour later at 4:43 p.m.
  • Angelika Gonzales was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 9:58 p.m. Gonzales was arrested for a number of charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, contempt of court, class c theft, and parent contributing to non-attendance at SAISD. She also had five warrants for failure to appear at court dates. She was released the same day on a personal recognizance bond.
  • Sam Diaz was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 9 p.m. Diaz was arrested for two warrants. 
  • John Deanda was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 9:39 p.m. Deanda was arrested for a parole violation. During the arrest he got an additional charge of having no proof of financial responsibility.
  • Robert Schmidt was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 10:08 p.m. Schmidt was arrested for criminal trespassing at 10:09 p.m.
  • Louis Castro was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 at 11:41 p.m. Castro was arrested after he was charged with no headlights of a bicycle and riding a bicycle on the wrong side of the roadway. Along with those charges Castro had two warrants for violating his promise to appear and one warrant for failing to appear. 
  • Kirk Gray was booking into the jail on Nov. 29 at 12:55 a.m. Gray was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 or 1-B between one and four grams. 

The following were released from the TGCDF over the past 24 hours:

  • Rebecca Sanchez was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 8:42 a.m. She was charged with theft of a property between $100 and $750 on Nov. 27 at 10:37 p.m.
  • Ismael Sosa was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 8:43 a.m. He was arrested on Nov. 29, 2021 for a going off bond warrant on a previous driving while intoxicated charge. This is his third or more DWI offense.
  • Daniel Trevino was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 8:58 a.m. He was arrested for theft of a property between $100 and $750 on Nov. 27 at 10:56 p.m.
  • Emanuel Garcia was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 10:43 a.m. He was arrested fordriving while license invalid and possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 17 at 10:02 p.,m.
  • Jose Segura was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 11:28 a.m. Segura was in the jail after being sentenced for his second driving while intoxicated charge.
  • Tory Wilson was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 11:28 a.m. Segura was in the jail after being sentenced for his second driving while intoxicated charge.
  • Alonza Wesley was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 12:58 p.m. Also was arrested on Nov, 13 for a motion to revoke probation warrant on a possession of a controlled substance charge.
  • Rual Estrada was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 1:28 p.m. Estrada spent four days in the jail after he was arrested on Nov. 24 at 9:42 p.m. for assault that caused bodily injury to a family member and evading arrest. 
  • Paul Oates was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 2:28 p.m. Oates was booked into the jail for two probation violations. The first was for assault that caused bodily injury and the other was for his second driving while intoxicated. Those arrests also occurred on Nov. 28.
  • Skyler Walter was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 3:58 p.m. Walter was arrested arrested after he allegedly fled from police officers with drug paraphernalia on Nov. 24 at 12:33 a.m.. He also had three warrants for his arrest. 
  •  Dominique Kennon was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 3:58 p.m. Kennon spent the night in jail after she was arrested on Nov. 27 at 2:21 a.m. for assault that caused bodily injury.
  • Cliff Holik was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 3:58 p.m. Holik was booked into the jail on Nov. 28 after a warrant was issued for a probation violation. Holik is on probation for purchasing or furnishing alcohol to minors.
  • Brendan Pierce was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 4:43 p.m. Pierce spent less than an hour in the jail after being arrested for criminal trespassing at 3:47 p.m.
  •  Robert Schmidt was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 5:58 p.m. Schmidt was booked into the jail early Monday morning for criminal trespassing at 3:27 a.m.
  • Angelika Gonzales was released from the jail on Nov. 28 at 9:58 p.m. Gonzales was arrested for a number of crimes including class c theft, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of parent contributing to non-attendance at SAISD, and contempt of court. On top of those charges Gonzales also had five failure to appear warrants.
  • James Garza was released from the jail on Nov. 29 at 12:58 a.m. Garza had spent a month in the jail after he was arrested on Oct. 29 at 3:03 a.m. for class c assault to a family member, evading arrest with a previous conviction, and bail jumping. Along with the bail jumping Garza had a warrant for a failure to appear at a court date for a driving while intoxicated with an open alcohol container.
