SAN ANGELO – A convicted local meth dealer last week was sentenced to 15 years in prison after she pleaded guilty.
According to court documents, on Nov. 17, 2022 at 9 a.m., Paulina Vizcaino, 25, of San Angelo, was sentenced to sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's Institutional Division for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
Vizcaino was originally charged with the crime in Sep. of 2020. At the time of her arrest a search warrant was executed at her home on the 5400 block of Ben Ficklin rd. In the search police found methamphetamine, packaging equipment, and scales for weighing drugs.
The indictment, which came down on Jan. 7, 2021, claimed that Vizcaino had more than 400 grams of meth in the home.
Vizcaino entered a plea of guilty with no recommendation on Nov. 17 and was sentenced by Judge Carmen Dusek to 15 years in prison. She was also ordered to pay $180 in restitution.
