San Angelo Man Arrested for Burglarizing Storage Units

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 39-year-old was arrested on Monday morning after he burglarized multiple storage units.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Sep. 12 at 4:51 a.m., Officers were dispatched to 910 W. 29th, the Freedom Self Storage, in reference to a burglary of a building in progress. Officers arrived on scene and located a male subject, later identified as Colby Davis, 39, of San Angelo actively burglarizing a storage unit.

Officers detained Davis and learned that approximately “9” storage units had been tampered with and burglarized during this incident.

Detectives with SAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division arrived on scene and ultimately took Davis into custody for his City/County Warrants, Criminal Trespass, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

Detectives are still currently attempting to locate owners of the burglarized/tampered units and additional charges may be forthcoming.
