SAN ANGELO – A San Angelo man has taken a plea deal Wednesday after being indicted on charges of possessing pornographic images of a child he knew.
According to court documents, Taylor Morgan Cambre was indicted in March 2022 for two counts of possession of child pornography. The indictment reads that on February 27, 2020, Cambre did intentionally and knowingly possess visual material that depicted a child who was younger than 18 years of age engaging in sexual conduct, namely, actual lewd exhibition of the genitals.
Cambre was in possession of tiles titled “image0.jpg.A” and “image0.jgp.B” that both contained child pornography. He also knew the child in the images was under the age of 18 when the images were taken.
In exchange for a guilty plea, Cambre was sentenced to eight years deferred adjudication probation and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine. He will also have to register as a sex offender.
