LUBBOCK – A search warrant was executed in Lubbock on Monday and four gang members were arrested.
According to information from the Lubbock Police Department, the Texas Anti-Gang Center executed a warrant after gang activity and illegal narcotic sales were reported in the area of East 2nd Street in Lubbock.
During the search, four men were located inside the residence located at 1700 block of East 2nd Street. According to the Texas Anti-Gang Center, all four were confirmed gang members.
Investigators confiscated about $8,600 in cash, 4 firearms including 2 AR-15 rifles and 2 handguns, almost 6 pounds of marijuana, and extended firearm magazines.
The men have been identified as:
- Azarius Upshaw, 20
- Cederic Hawthorne, 22
- Bryan Rector, 22
- Jacobye Bracy, 24
They were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and money laundering.
All four are currently in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
