BREAKING: Shooting at Dallas Love Field Monday

DALLAS – One person has been hospitalized after a shooting inside Dallas Love Field Monday morning.

According to officials, Dallas Police responded to Love Field for a “shots fired” call at about 11:00 a.m. Right now, one individual was transported by ambulance from the scene.

The Chief of Police from Rockwall, Max Geron, who was inside the airport with his family at the time, said he and his family were going through TSA security when they heard gunshots go off near the ticket counter or baggage area.

TSA then said the shooter was down and people were evacuated from the airport.

Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed that one person was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital, but their condition is unknown at this point.

This is a developing story.
