LUBBOCK- A Lubbock hospital employee has been arrested after brandishing a handgun during an altercation with a co-worker. The weapon turned out to be a BB gun.
On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Lubbock Police responded to Covenant Medical Center for reports of a civil disturbance in the hospital cafeteria. A Covenant employee, Brandon Davis, was arguing with another employee. Davis left and returned with a handgun and pointed it the other employee.
The worker tackled Davis and held him down until police arrived. Later, investigators discovered that the handgun was a BB air pistol.
Davis was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and was booked into the Lubbock County Jail.
