BREAKING: Dangerous High Speed Chase Through North San Angelo Ends in Crash on the Loop

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Police finally stopped a high speed chase through north San Angelo Wednesday afternoon after a what appears to be a one ton work truck was reported stolen.

Details are sketchy at this time, but the chase led officers down N. Bryant, Armstrong, FM2105 and back through San Angelo onto the Houston-Harte Expressway and ended in what communications called a crash near the intersection of Dallas and the Houston-Harte access Rd.

Officers called for an ambulance and reporters on the scene say a woman was put in a neck brace and into an ambulance.

The suspect fled the vehicle following the crash and was taken into custody after a short foot chase into the median on Houston-Harte.

This is a developing story and will be updated when additional information becomes available.
