Police Chase Turns Deadly Over Independence Day Weekend

 

CRANE, TX – Two people were killed over the weekend after a police chase in the Permian Basin.

According to multiple reports, on Jul. 3, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety attempted to pull over a 2021 Kia Forte for multiple traffic violations.

The Forte proceeded to evade police down highway 385 but eventually lost control and crashed. The vehicle crashed into the a building which killed both the driver and the passenger. 

They have been identified as Adrian Elijah White, 20, and 17-year-old Aaron Robert White. It has been confirmed that the older White was the one driving the vehicle. It is unknown at this time why the two fled.

Both were pronounced dead at the crash scene.
