GoFundMe Set Up for Family of Northside Drowning Victim

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A GoFundMe has been set up for the family of the toddler that drowned on Thursday afternoon in North San Angelo.

As previously reported, on Jun. 9 at around 5:27 p.m., officers with the SAPD were dispatched to 3306 N. Bryant Blvd., the Resort at Riverside apartment complex, for the report of a possible drowning. When the officers arrived, they discovered a 4-year-old boy who was unconscious. After breaking the news, a family member of the toddler revealed that a GoFundMe has been set up to help the family. According to the fundraiser, Rodolfo Mercado IV, left behind a mother, father, and three sister. The family is asking for help to pay for funeral expenses and any other expenses needed during the grieving process.

"Baby Rudy was full of life. Anyone who knew him have stories to tell about him." states the GoFundMe. "My sister and his three sisters are left behind mourning this terrible loss. Please pray for her, his dad and his three sisters as their lives will never be the same."

The GoFundMe goes on to say different way to pay but ends with one wish.

"Thank you all and please above all, pray for them!"
