San Angelo Man Arrested for Deviant Abuse of a Child

 

SAN ANGELO – A San Angelo man was arrested Saturday for continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.

According to court documents, investigators were contacted by a San Angelo police officer who advised a child made an outcry of sexual abuse and accused the defendant, identified as Reymundo Luna. The investigator read the officer’s police report that documented the allegations of abuse.

The victim was identified as a child under the age of 14 who alleged that from January 1st, 2020, through November 29, 2020, Luna used his fingers to penetrate the child’s sexual organ. The child also stated that this happened on more than two occasions during a period of more than 30 days.

Investigators then spoke to Luna who stated between January 5, 2020, through November 29, 2020, while at the 200 block of North Campus Boulevard, he used his fingers to touch the sexual organ of the child.

Reymundo Luna was arrested and booked on May 14, 2022, and is currently being held on $250,000.00 bond.
