SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo man was arrested last Friday after a search warrant found him in possession of a copious amount of drugs.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, on May 6, officers with the San Angelo Police Department, including detectives with the SAPD's Street Crime Division, executed a search warrant on the 2300 block of Lakeside Dr.
SAPD’s K9 unit, Anti-Crime Unit, Gang Unit, and member of the Street Crimes Division assisted with the execution of this search warrant.
During the search, officers seized multiple handguns, two motor vehicles, 6.4 ounces Cocaine, 7.5 pounds THC products, 5+ pounds Marijuana, and nearly $11,000 in cash.
The resident of the home were the drug bust took place was identified as 22-year-old Nicholas Martinez. He was at the residence during the execution of the search warrant.
He was charged with possession of marijuana five to 50 pounds, manufacture and delivery of controlled substance PG 1 between four to 200 grams, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG 2 less than 400 grams, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Martinez has previous felony convictions that include multiple possession of a controlled substances charges and a theft of a firearm charge.
He was released the following day after posting a $160,000 bond.
