Abilene Man Arrested for Heinous Assault

ABILENE, TX – An Abilene man was arrested on Tuesday morning after police say he molested a young child.

According to the Abilene Police Department, on Apr. 26, detectives with the APD's special victim's unit arrested 32-year-old Eleno Silva III on an outstanding warrant for Second Degree Felony Sexual Assault of a Child.

Detectives worked with the United States Air Force Special Investigators to secure his arrest.

Detectives began investigating after an outcry was made by a juvenile.

He is being held in the Taylor County Jail in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
