DETAILS: Manhunt Underway in San Angelo for Fugitive Gang Member

SAN ANGELO – The San Angelo Police Department released the following details Wednesday afternoon regarding the chase and search for a wanted felon Tuesday night.

The press release states:

On 4/5/22 around 8:15pm, Officers with the SAPD Anti-Crime Unit observed a green in color Chrysler passenger car being operated by a known wanted subject (Domingo Gomez 25 yoa.)

SAPD’s Anti-Crime Unit attempted to conduct a stop on the vehicle in the 700blk of West Ave D but Gomez evaded in the vehicle and ultimately crashed in the 600blk of Spencer Street.

Gomez then continued to evade from officers on foot and a perimeter was quickly established by responding officers. SAPD’s K-9, Gang Unit, and Patrol Division assisted with attempting to locate Gomez but were unsuccessful in taking him into custody.

Two other occupants of the vehicle (a 22 year old Male and Female) were initially detained but were released at the conclusion of investigation.

Multiple pieces of identifying information, drug paraphernalia, narcotics, and a firearm were located inside of the vehicle and they were seized pending further investigation.

No officers or civilians were injured during the course of this investigation and only minor damage was reported from the crash to a fence and home.

Domingo Gomez was featured on this weeks "Wanted Wednesday" and is confirmed to have gang affiliation and reckless behavior. The SAPD also asked the public to not attempt to confront Gomez and call (325) 657-4315 if you have any information about Gomez.

So you’re reporting this all day like it’s breaking news when it happened yesterday? No big deal except for the the residents in this neighborhood wondering what’s going down while we’re stuck at work wondering if a dangerous thug is hiding in our home or backyard when we get home.
This rag is truly a joke. It’s a gossip column and an outlet for 3 local MAGA losers who live for the fever dreams of FoxNews opinionists and to post their armchair expert opinions on everything from macroeconomics to foreign policy and military strategy and the 3 that try to educate them (kudos to the latter 3).

Did anyone in San Angelo know about the details of the veterinarian who murdered her husband until the 20/20 episode, for example? That story was WILD and not a peep from any local ‘journalists’ the entire time. I guess you’re all making a living though, so carry on. You do you, as they say.
