Sheriff Deputies Find 13 Pounds of Weed in Abandoned Car Near I-10

 

SONORA, TX – 13 pounds of pot was seized by the Sutton County Sheriff's Office on Friday.

According to Sutton County Sheriff's Office, on Mar. 11, deputies with the SCSO were investigating an abandoned vehicle near the intersection of Bloodworth and the I-10 service road. 

During the investigation, the deputies discovered 13 pounds of marijuana. Along with the large amount of narcotics the deputies found an ID.

The suspect was identified and it was learned that he was arrested by Sonora Police Department and was deported the night before SCSO found the vehicle.

The approximate monetary value of the drugs was around $20,000.
