San Angelo Police Seize 4 Pounds of Molly During Traffic Stop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police confirmed on Monday that they seized over four pounds of Molly during a traffic stop.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Mar. 4, detective with the SAPD's street crimes division initiated an investigation that led to a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 1400 block of S.
Taylor. 

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Elizabeth Norton, 38, and she was arrested upon learning that she had two outstanding Out of County Warrants for her arrest.

A search of both Elizabeth’s person and vehicle resulted in approximately four pounds of MDMA as well as small quantity of suspected Cocaine.

Elizabeth was ultimately charged with, two MISC CPFs for out of county warrants, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1, and Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG2.

SAPD’s K9 Division, Patrol Division, Anti-Crime Unit, and Gang Unit assisted with the investigation.

Norton was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility on Mar. 5 at 2:46 a.m. She remains in the jail on a $155,000 bond.
