Five Month Investigation Leads to Massive Permian Drug Bust

 

ODESSA, TX – Deputies with the Ector County Sheriff's Office made a large drug bust on Friday morning in Odessa.

According to the Ector County Sheriff's Office, on Mar. 4 at around 4 a.m., deputies with the ECSO served a search warrant at a residence on the 12000 look of W. Edith.

The warrant yielded 24 pounds of methamphetamine, five pounds of marijuana, a half a kilo of cocaine, two rifles, five handguns, and around $8,000 in cash. The drugs have been set to a lab for testing.

Three people were arrested during the search; Kyle Naughn, 31, Marcus Orosco, 27, and 31-year-old Nieto Garcia. They are all currently being held in the Ector County Jail.

The sheriff's office confirmed that the ECSO investigated the drug ring for half year before getting a warrant.
