San Angelo Man Arrested Thursday in Bishop St. Meth Bust

 

SAN ANGELO – Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies seize drugs and arrest a suspect in San Angelo following an investigation.  

On or about January 27, 2022, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division initiated a narcotics investigation based off an online, anonymous crime tip.  On March 3, 2022, deputies executed a search warrant in the 900 block of North Bishop St. in San Angelo.    

A search of the residence and sewer line leading from the residence yielded a quantity of methamphetamine.  John Kolster, 48 years of age, was arrested for Manufacture / Deliver Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 >=4G<200G and Tampering / Fabricate Physical Evidence. 

Deputies from the Special Operations Group, Criminal Investigation Division, and patrol division assisted in the search. 

This remains an active investigation and additional charges are possible.
