Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies Conduct STEP Enforcement in January

SAN ANGEO – In the month of January 2022, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, Select Traffic Enforcement Program and Commercial Motor Vehicle STEP, conducted 147 traffic stops.  During these traffic stops, Deputies took 99 enforcement actions for speeding and 64 enforcement actions for other traffic violations.  No arrests were made during the enforcement periods.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to public safety on Texas highways. The primary goal of these programs are to decrease traffic crashes making the highway a safer place.  Please remember to slow down, put the cellular phone away, and always buckle up.
