San Angelo Police Respond to Possible Body Found Inside Freezing Truck

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – SAPD was called out to a home in North San Angelo on Thursday morning after a report of a body inside of a freezing truck.

According to scanner reports, on Feb. 3, at around 10 a.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department and paramedics with the San Angelo EMS were dispatched to the 2200 block of Coleman for the report of a possible DB. 

Prior to PD arriving, dispatch detailed the scene to be a possible person inside of a truck outside of a residence.

San Angelo LIVE! reporters were on scene but no official statement was given at the time. However the reporter claims that police were searching in the truck. Here are photos of the scene:

At this time it is unknown if someone died at the scene or not. According to a Hypothermia study, the human body can begin experiencing hypothermia at 32 degrees. In San Angelo last night the low was reported below 20 degrees. 

San Angelo LIVE reached out to the PD's PIO. "This incident is current under investigation and I am unable to release information at this time," was the response given.
